Melike Ersin graduated in Biology from Dokuz Eylül University, where she focused on microbiology and led a TÜBİTAK 2209-A-supported project on biological activity. She is a researcher at AgriGenomics Hub.
Her work addresses evolutionary developmental biology and amphibian evolution. Interests include intraspecific variation, adaptation, population genetics, ecotones and forest biodiversity.
