Alyoşa Sezer graduated in Biology from METU and is pursuing a master’s degree at Ankara University’s Biotechnology Institute. He is a full-time researcher at eGL and AgriGenomics Hub.
He uses metagenomic approaches to investigate terrestrial mammal behaviour, particularly the diets, habitat use, interactions and environmental relationships of wolves (Canis lupus).
By combining environmental DNA data with ecological observations, he aims to understand behavioural diversity and adaptation. Diet analysis, molecular ecology and conservation biology underpin his work.
